Robert "Robbie" Mathews (Founder/Owner/Service Manager)

In addition to being Airmasters’ fearless leader, Robbie manages the service department and communicates directly with customers to make sure we are meeting their needs as efficiently as possible. Though raised in many communities in his youth Robbie is proud to call Chicago his hometown. Robbie graduated from Chicago’s famous Coyne American Institute HVAC/R trade school with the financial assistance of his mother (to whom he owes much and is grateful for) in 1983. He formally started in the trade in Decatur in 1984 with Adams Refrigeration fetching tools and “learning the ropes” under the tutelage and guidance of Owner Ken Adams. Robbie say’s “Ken was a wonderful man who sparked my passion for the trade”. Robbie was fortunate to have worked with many of the trade’s brightest minds and best technicians and continues to be humbled by the opportunity to give back. Robbie serves on multiple regional boards and committees in an effort to ensure the integrity, success and future of the HVAC/R trade.

Coltin Cunningham (Manager)

Coltin manages and oversees Airmasters’ business operations, customer service and the mechanical maintenance division. He also handles most service-generated repair, and over-the-counter sale and installation quoting. Coltin joined Airmasters after graduating at the top of his class from Robert Morris University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Management and Economics. Coltin was born and raised in Petersburg, IL. and enjoys teaching martial arts, golfing, boating, camping, fishing, hunting and riding his Harley in his spare time.

Brian Burns (Sales Engineer/Technical Support Liaison)

Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his position at AIRmasters. After nearly 30 years in the trade Brian is able to provide expert support to our technical staff. Brian also works closely with clients to provide turn-key/design build solutions. His portfolio of work includes overall design of mechanical systems including comfort, cooling systems for commercial buildings to process cooling systems, make-up-air systems and veterinary clinics and data center precision cooling applications. Brian is a lifelong resident of Springfield and graduate of Griffin High School.

Donny Kerber (Sheet Metal Foreman)

Donny assists clients with design plans, from initial consultation through the completion of the project. He leads our sheet metal department with nearly 25 years in the trade. After apprenticing with local #2185 and many years in the field he brings invaluable experience to our shop. His background includes advanced training for instruction in Auto CAD and detailing for sheet metal apprentices and journeyman. Donny enjoys traveling, camping, fishing and playing poker with friends.

Mark Doran (Accountant)

Mark joined Airmasters in 2014, bringing with him more than 30 years of public and private accounting experience. He not only manages the day to day accounting operations but works with Airmasters’ customers to help them stay current and ensure they have been properly taken care of. Mark is a 1984 graduate of Indiana University (Bachelor’s in Accounting) and enjoys playing basketball, golf, tennis and off-road biking.

Erica Kimball (Office Assistant / Warranty Specialist)

Erica is the friendly voice you usually hear first when you call Airmasters. A big part of our customer service team, Erica takes service calls, inputs data and helps put customers in touch with the right people. Erica has also become Airmasters’ Warranty Specialist, ensuring customers receive maximum warranty coverage on their repairs. She has been with Airmasters since 2011 and has a background in outstanding customer service. Erica is a graduate of Chatham-Glenwood High School.
